Kronos is a mobile-first financial app that combines banking, crypto trading, pay advances, and savings into a single platform. It's purpose-built for gig workers, freelancers, and anyone who wants modern banking without juggling multiple apps. Available on iOS.
Is Kronos a real bank?
Kronos is a FinCEN-registered Money Services Business and a financial technology platform, not a chartered bank. Banking services are provided through chartered partner banks via Bridge.xyz. Cash deposits are FDIC-insured through those partner banks.
Is Kronos legit?
Yes. KronosPay LLC is a Delaware-registered LLC headquartered in Miami, Florida. FinCEN-registered (BSA Tracking Number MRX26-00003995), uses Plaid Identity Verification for KYC, uses a non-custodial wallet (keys on device); buy/sell is brokered through Bridge as the licensed counterparty, and is available on the Apple App Store after Apple review and approval.

How do I open a Kronos account?

Kronos Pay from the App Store, sign up with email + phone, complete ID verification through Plaid (driver's license or passport + selfie), and link a bank account. Under 5 minutes.
Do I need to be a US resident?
Yes. Currently US-only. You'll need a valid SSN or ITIN and a US residential address. International expansion is roadmap.
Is there an age requirement?
18+ (or the age of majority in your state) — required by our banking and crypto partners.
When will Android be available?
Roadmap for 2026. iOS-only today. Waitlist members can join on any device.
Is Kronos the same as UKG Kronos?
No. KronosPay (getkronos.io) is unrelated to UKG Kronos (workforce management software). KronosPay is a consumer fintech app for banking, crypto, and pay advances.
