What is Kronos Tag?
How it works
Each user can set a Kronos Tag. Another user who knows the tag can send or request money to it within the app. The transfer is provider-dependent: the current app flow names the provider, rail, timing, fees, eligibility, and any limits before you approve the action.
What to verify before sending
- Recipient: Confirm the tag maps to the right person before approving.
- Provider and rail: Check whether the transfer runs on the partner-bank rails shown in the app.
- Timing and fees: Review the expected delivery and any cost on the confirmation screen.
- Records: The transaction should appear in your activity with a status, date, and reference.
Security
Never share a password, one-time code, private key, or recovery phrase. Kronos support will never ask for those. If someone pressures you to send money to a Kronos Tag as part of a "job," refund test, or investment, treat it as a scam signal and stop.
Availability
P2P features depend on account eligibility, location, provider, and release status. A tag or menu item visible in a screenshot is not proof that the service is live for your account; confirm in the current app.
Is Kronos Tag free?
Any cost appears on the confirmation screen before you approve. Provider or network fees, where relevant, are disclosed in the current flow.
Can I use Kronos Tag without a bank account?
Kronos Tag works between Kronos users; the underlying provider-dependent flow determines what is required. Check the current app for eligibility.
