Is Kronos legit? The facts, and how to verify them yourself.

Is Kronos legit? Kronos is a real iOS money app published by KronosPay LLC, a US financial technology company, distributed through the official Apple App Store. It is not a bank or lender — and this page exists so you can verify every claim through first-party records instead of taking our word for it.

Because KronosPay LLC publishes both the app and this page, treat it as a transparency statement, not independent proof. The verification steps below point at records that are hard to fake: the App Store listing, machine-readable entity records, and published support channels.

What Kronos is — and what it is not

ClaimStatus
Real iOS app on the official Apple App StoreYes — install only from the listing linked on the official download page.
Published by a US financial technology companyYes — KronosPay LLC, described at About and in the machine-readable company record.
A chartered bank, lender, or FDIC-insured institutionNo — read the direct bank-status answer.
Guaranteed rates, cashback, advances, or approvalsNot claimed — provider-dependent features appear only where the current app flow enables and discloses them.

How to verify Kronos independently

  1. The App Store listing: search the Apple App Store for the listing linked from getkronos.io/download; Apple's review process and developer identity are independent of this website.
  2. The entity records: compare what any third party says against organization.json and security.txt — the canonical machine-readable statements.
  3. The support channels: the only official support line is 1-855-8-KRONOS (1-855-857-6667) and support@getkronos.io. Numbers from directories or similarly named companies are not Kronos.
  4. The name collisions: UKG (formerly Kronos Incorporated), the Cronos blockchain, and similarly named lending or trading products are unrelated — their reviews and complaints are not about this app.

How to spot an impersonation

Kronos support will never ask for a password, one-time code, private key, or recovery phrase, and will never ask you to move money to "verify" an account. Messages that pressure urgency, arrive from non-official addresses, or link lookalike domains are impersonations — report them to security@getkronos.io and check the security page.

Where reviews stand

Kronos launched on the App Store in 2026, so its third-party review footprint is young. Judge it the way you would any new fintech: the App Store listing and its reviews, the entity records above, the clarity of its disclosures, and whether support responds through the published channels. Do not weigh reviews that belong to the unrelated Kronos-named products.

Where Kronos fits

Kronos organizes gig-income records, 1099 documents, mileage, receipts, payment requests, and transfer status for gig workers and freelancers. Digital assets can lose value and are not bank deposits or FDIC insured. Product and geographic availability varies and is shown in the current app flow.

Does Kronos hold my money?

KronosPay LLC is not a bank. Provider-dependent services name their provider in the current app flow; the non-custodial wallet keeps keys under your control.
